Guys, remember this

Words Women Use

Study this and know it!

FINE

This is the word women use to end an argument when they feel they are right and you need to shut up. Never use "fine" to describe how a woman looks this will cause you to have one of those arguments.

FIVE MINUTES

This is half an hour. It is equivalent to the five minutes that your football game is going to last before you take out the trash, so it's an even trade.

NOTHING

This means "something", and you should be on your toes. "Nothing" is usually used to describe the feeling a woman has of wanting to turn you inside out, upside down, and backwards. 'Nothing" usually signifies an
argument that will last "Five Minutes" and end with 'Fine'.

GO AHEAD (With Raised Eyebrows)

This is a dare. One that will result in a woman getting upset over "Nothing" and will end with the word "Fine".

GO AHEAD (Normal Eyebrows)

This means "I give up" or "do what you want because I don't care" You will get a "Raised Eyebrow Go Ahead" in just a few minutes, followed by Nothing" and "Fine" and she will talk to you in about "Five Minutes" when she cools off.

LOUD SIGH

This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot at that moment, and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing".

SOFT SIGH

Again, not a word, but a non-verbal statement. "Soft Sighs" mean that she is content. Your best bet is to not move or breathe, and she will stay content.

THAT'S OKAY

This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before paying you back for whatever it is that you have done. "That's Okay" is often used with the word "Fine" and in conjunction with a "Raised Eyebrow.

GO AHEAD.

At some point in the near future, you are going to be in some mighty big trouble.

PLEASE DO

This is not a statement, it is an offer. A woman is giving you the chance to come up with whatever excuse or reason you have for doing whatever it is that you have done. You have a fair chance with the truth, so be careful
and you shouldn't get a "That's Okay."

THANKS

A woman is thanking you. Do not faint. Just say you're welcome.

THANKS A LOT

This is much different from "Thanks." A woman will say, "Thanks A Lot" when she is really ticked off at you. It signifies that you have offended her in some callous way, and will be followed by the "Loud Sigh." Be careful not to ask what is wrong after the "Loud Sigh," as she will only tell you "Nothing."

Best news ever!!!

Hey,

Guess what?!?!?! My dad passed the State boards test (basically the test to get his nursing liscence) and is now a legal RN. I am so proud of him. He has worked really hard for this, and deserves it. Dad has this talent for taking realy good care of his patients, and building connections with them. Anyway, he has been working for this for 3 years now.

Day One

Hey,

As you can see from the title of the post today, it is day one of Hell week. Aka Exam week. It' not all that bad actually. I just took two exams today. Does anyopne know what time second lunch is tomorrow? I have to leave during lunch tomorrow. Anyway, I'm kinda bored and tired (isn't everyone?). I think Mr Ready got a little sentimental at the end of first hour because it's our last time we'll have him. He's a cool teacher, I'll miss having him just about everyday. Oh well, at least I can bug him on my Washington trip. I have to go walk Cameron to school in a minute or 2. Maybe it's time I consider getting my liscence. Nah...then I wouldn't be the free-loader that everyone has come to know and *love*. (actually, I knida stink at driving and it scares me...). Just got back from walking Cameron. I needed that time to think and unwind. Except I froze. Ooh...I smell chicken. Gotta go.

Bloggery

Hey,

It's cram time. Everyone is scrambling to set up stdy times to cram in a semester worth of useless information. All in time for the exams that may decide if we pass or fail, and then we'll forget the info again. Useless, viscous cycle, isn't it. I'm afraid to say, I'll be joining the hordes of people trying to cram. I'm going to Greg's tomorrow, in the hopes that he can reteach me some Algebra that I forgot. *sigh* Life is so difficult. On Tuesday, my dad is going downstate to take the
NCLEX-RN (state board of review test to get his nursing liscence). The tension here is almost palpable. But I'm confident that he will pass with flying colors. hehe. Nothing exciting has been hppening of late. Oh, Greg has once more corrupted my tste in music. I went to a concert with him last night...a jazz concert. I normally hate jazz..but I think my opionion is changing. Jeez. Well, more later

Note to Greg: I love the post. Your sence of humor is definitely coming through:-)

Phantom of the Opera

Hey,

I love Andrew Loyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera. Specifically I love the music. Tonight Greg and I are going to go have dinner then go see Phantom of the Opera, the movie. this should be interesting. Greg and I have needed this date since Christmas break and the fight we had. Last night I saw Brandon's play with Emily then spent the night at her house. (impromptu as usual). After, my date with Greg, I'm going over to Emily's hose again. What a busy weeked. Hopefull it won't be quite that busy next weekend.

Whew!

Hey,
Yesterday was exhaughsting. I'm not going to get into the gritty details. who wants to read that. I wish I could see a flying cow. Yeah that was random, but I'm in a random mood. Last weekend was pretty good, and I got caught up on my sleep. At the rock and roll dance, they threw glowsticks over the balcony. I loved it:-) I caught about 4 of them. I slept most of saturday. Oh, to have more days like that.

Grrrrrrrrrrr

Hey,

What a crappy day. I woke up really tired and barely being able to keep my eyes open during second hour. Greg left to go to Wisconsin for some family stuff. I won't be able to see him again till Monday. I miss him!!! I have a cold and a headache. And my siblings are driving me nuts and just making everything worse. I want to go to bed and hide for several days, except I have to go to school to see if I made the chorus in the musical or not. I really hope tomorrow goes better.

Happy New Year!

Hey,

Well another year has arrived. At least I wasn't babysitting when it arrived. (last year I had to watch the Heathen cousins) This year the Terror cousins came over. go figure. anyway, I hope this year is kind to everyone and all that stuff.
I spent last weekend with emily traveling around. We hung out in Chicago for a day and a half. I am a country girl at heart...but the city was awesome. I would love to go again.
